St Peter’s OSC offers out-of-school care to full time pupils registered at the school aged between 4-11. We operate in term time only. We do not operate on INSET days.
Applications
These should be made directly to us directly to us, rather than the school. However, applications can only be made once your child or children has a confirmed space at the school.
After you contact us, we’ll send you our registration form and contract for you to fill out. Once you have returned these, we’ll email you if we are able to offer a place for your child or children.
We’re unable to guarantee a place for every applicant. We prioritise children from families where the family needs a greater number of morning and afternoon sessions, or has more than one child requiring care. We do understand that each family’s needs will vary from month to month, and we always try and accommodate each family as much as we can.
Nursery age children: We are unable to provide the service for children in nursery care, but we are able to accept applications: your child will then be placed on a waiting list until they start at St Peter’s school in Reception.
Bookings and Payment
Places must be booked by the 20th of the month for the following month. An invoice is issued on the 20th for the following month. Payment by bank transfer must be paid before the beginning of the new month.
Invoices are emailed on the 20th of each month and show the deadline for payment and our bank details. We encourage all clients to use the bank transfer system that is in place and is currently used by all our clients. We can operate other payment methods which should be discussed with the manager in the first instance.
Once payment has been received your child will be able to start. If there are no available places for the day(s) you request, then your child will be placed on to the waiting list until a space becomes available.
In some instances, parents may require additional places at short notice. We will always try to accommodate these needs but we cannot guarantee short-notice places.
Current Fees
Morning session: £4.40 per child per session
Afternoon session: £7.70 per child session
For our afternoon sessions we offer a £1 discount per session for a second and further siblings.

A note on refunds and late collections:
We are unable to offer refunds once places have been booked, as we engage staff on the basis of the bookings we have invoiced for.
This is because we are strictly governed by the National Minimum Standards for regulated Child Care (Wales). These standards stipulate the accepted staffing levels for all childcare providers in Wales have to adhere to.
Late collection of your child or children after 6pm in the evening result in an additional charge of £5.00 for every five minutes. Late collections can result in the service being withdrawn.
