How the day works

Our before school sessions start when parents (or nominated adult) bring their children to us at 7:45 AM. At 08:55 AM, we’ll take children to star their classes for the day at the school. The after-school session starts when the school day finishes 3:30 PM when the children move from classes to out-of-school care club.

By 6PM, all children should be collected from the setting by parents (or nominated adults.)

Please ensure you have booked sessions before your child attends. Details on booking can be found on our admissions page.

Children at St. Peter's Out of School Care in Cardiff enjoy outdoor activities in the school playground, after school hours.

A note on refunds and late collections:

We are unable to offer refunds once places have been booked, as we engage staff on the basis of the bookings we have invoiced for.

This is because we are strictly governed by the National Minimum Standards for regulated Child Care (Wales). These standards stipulate the accepted staffing levels for all childcare providers in Wales have to adhere to.

Late collection of your child or children after 6pm in the evening result in an additional charge of £5.00 for every five minutes. Late collections can result in the service being withdrawn.

Fee increases

We always aim to provide the most affordable care possible, and to keep prices as low as we can. Inflationary pressures may result in fees changing from time to time. We will always give as much notice as possible, and explain exactly why changes are being made.
